Our healthy eating policy applies in Bright Sparks. Children’s meals are prepared fresh each day in our own kitchen by our cook, who makes sure that a home and hearty meal is promised.
Treats are only for special occasions and we promote fruit and vegetables each day.
If a special diet is required we can discuss with parents and decide what's best for the child. All foods are bought locally and brought in daily by ourselves.
Sample menu for Wednesday:
Breakfast: Porridge, cornflakes, Weetabix, toast, water /milk
Morning Snack: Fresh fruit, toast and milk
Dinner: Mash potatoes, mixed vegetables, roasted chicken, gravy, glass of water
Afternoon tea: Fruit scone, glass of milk
Supper: Cheese and grapes, pizza slice, bread and butter, milk/water
