Safety at Bright Sparks...
Our Centre caters for all children of all ages so safety is number one for us. While children are in our care we teach them and educate them about the importance of protecting themselves from danger.
A room phone system is used and once the practitioner is aware of the child in her care is being dropped off/collected she will go to the front door. All parents are told of the importance of safety of each other and adhering to the rules of the school especially during Covid 19. Strict regulations regarding the collection of children are demonstrated at all times. Safety equipment is constantly checked at Bright Sparks. Fire drills are carried out monthly. Fire safety training is carried out for staff members. First aid training along with manual handling is important for staff members. Door safety catches are attached to all doors. Fire safety regulations are maintained throughout the building. All fire equipment has undergone an extensive upgrade in 2020. |
