Shooting Stars centres around a structured environment with daily routine giving lots of the time and opportunity for play as young children learn everything through play. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ As early years practitioners we observe their activities. This gives us insight into the child's interest and strengths, likes and dislikes. Shooting stars is a year of learning where we see the exciting change of the toddler become a preschooler. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Areas of development include social skills interactive life skills and speech development. Their levels of concentration are increasing and their understanding is becoming very evident. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We plan weekly activities related to what’s going on in the world around us e.g. seasons, weather, animals, making it fun, easy and let children express through art, imaginary play, music and movement. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We aim to provide a fun, caring, positive, stimulating environment where children feel secure and happy to express themselves. Where they are on the journey towards independence, getting ready for next step; pre-school year 2.
